Questions

Frequently asked questions

Short answers about appointments, the two imaging methods, costs, records and results.

Appointments and visits

How do I make an appointment?

Call (681) 206-9434, Monday to Friday, to discuss the examination, any referral needed, preparation and what the listed price includes. Confirm your appointment date and time with the clinic.

Do I need a referral?

It depends on the examination. CT involves ionizing radiation and should answer an appropriate clinical question, so ask us whether your study needs an order. If you already have a referral, ask how to send it before sharing any documents.

How should I prepare?

Ask for the instructions that apply to your examination before the appointment. Do not fast or change prescribed medication based on general information; follow the instructions from your clinician or the imaging team. Preparing for your visit.

Where are you located?

2812 E. Imperial Hwy, Brea, CA 92821. Get directions.

Is this an emergency service?

No. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

CT, thermography and MRI

What is the difference between CT and thermography?

CT creates X-ray images of internal structures. Thermography records temperature patterns on the skin. They provide different information, and thermography is used alongside clinical assessment rather than to make a diagnosis on its own. Compare the methods.

Can thermography replace a mammogram?

No. Thermography does not replace mammography or other recommended breast-cancer screening.

Do you offer MRI?

MRI is not one of the services described on this website. It uses magnetic fields and radio waves and is a different method from CT and thermography.

Does “full body” mean the whole body is scanned by CT?

No. On our price list, “full body” refers to thermography (DITI), which records skin-surface temperature; it is not a full-body CT or MRI scan. The Total Clarity package combines full-body thermography with a chest and lung CT. No full-body CT or MRI is offered on this list. Scan prices.

Will a scan find every problem?

No. A normal result does not rule out every condition, and an unexpected finding may need further evaluation by your clinician.

Costs, records and results

How much does an examination cost?

Listed prices are: single-region CT $450, including 3D reconstruction; thermography (DITI) $250 for a region or $395 for the full body; Trauma Screen $650; Total Clarity package $1,250. Each card on the price page lists what it includes; confirm the exact examination and inclusions when you call. Scan prices.

Who explains my results?

When you book, ask who interprets the images, how the report will reach you and your clinician, and who will go over it with you. Your clinician relates the findings to your overall care.

How do I get copies of my images or report?

Call and ask about the current records process and any identity or authorization steps. Records and results.

Can I send medical records through this website?

No. Please do not send records, images or identification through general website or email contact. Ask us for the right way to share them.

Employers and clinicians

Can my employer arrange a program?

Employers can call to discuss a program for their team. No employee medical details are needed for that first conversation. Employer programs.

How does a clinician refer a patient?

Call to confirm the requested study, its availability and how to send the order and relevant records. Information for providers.
